Silja Isenschmid

The native-born kindergarten teacher from Kuessnacht got her teaching diploma after four years of full-time training in the “Theresianum Ingenbohl.” She enhanced her English and French knowledge domestically and abroad. After several years of teaching at public schools, she dedicated herself to bilingual education. Among other experiences, she taught at the “Humboldt Day School” in Costa Rica. While there, she taught "German as a Second Language" for children ages 2 to 10. Alongside the pedagogic work, she acquired the Trade Diploma and Personnel Assistant Diploma. During the last two years she was active in the commercial area. Her combined background in the educational and commercial sectors gives her unique abilities to fulfil these two areas at the Kinderwelt Kuessnacht.
